School Opening Arrangements:
Highfields is following government advice in its response to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 pandemic.
From 8th March 2021, Highfields will be moving to a fully re-opening. We will be following a number of steps as outlined in this letter: Re-Opening Letter – 8th March 2021 Onwards
All parents/carers will have received a letter in the post outlining plans for their child. If you have not received this, please contact us immediately on 0161 4067922 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is important during this time that we refer to trusted websites. Highfields recommends the following two websites:
In line with NHS advice (in the link above), when school is open we will continue to send home any students who present with the following symptoms:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you’ve started coughing repeatedly
- loss or change to taste and/or smell

We will update this webpage if anything changes. We will also be sending out updates via text message – it is important school are made aware if you have recently changed your phone number.
What happens if an outbreak occurs at Highfields?
