Highfields College works with secondary-age students who have been, or are at risk of being, excluded from mainstream schools. Many of the students are expected to stay at Highfields for two/three terms, then return to a mainstream school or transfer to a specialist provision – others will stay for much longer, possibly completing their education with us.

Our aim is to re-engage students in education, enabling them to return to school or to move on to successful post 16 placements. Often the education packages are personalised to suit individual needs and include a variety of other interventions as part of a full wrap around service.
