Support for Parents
Highfields offers an open door to all young people and their parents/carers to talk through issues concerning them. However, we understand that school might not always feel like the place to share worries and difficult situations – and we also recognise we are only open 8am to 5pm each day for 39 weeks a year.
In the event of a young person being at risk of immediate harm – or at risk of harming others – we always recommend that emergency services are contacted immediately.

Childline offers a free, confidential service where young people can talk about anything causing them to worry. Advisors can be contacted on the phone or online. They also run a very useful and easygoing YouTube channel. |
