There has recently been a working group meet to think of ways to make the transition from year 11 to post-16 smoother and more successful for our young people. The working group involved secondary schools, special schools, AP / PRUs, post-16 providers (colleges, training centres) and Local Authority colleagues.
It has been agreed we will share specific information that will help support Year 11s on their arrival to their post-16 provider. We have put together a letter below which explains this further:
