Yesterday staff, with the help of a Year 10 student, braved the wet weather and started the renovation of a patch of land next to the Extension – newly named the ‘Blackberry Garden’. New seating and a privacy screen were fitted. Around 40 new plants were also planted – primarily native blackberry bushes, alongside a centrepiece silver birch tree (in keeping with our school logo). We are looking forward to seeing KS3 students use this space for relaxation and as a place for learning (such as a ‘Outdoor Maths’).
