Due to the hot weather, Key Stage 3 have found spending some of their lessons outside to be more productive – rather than in a stuffier classroom. The ‘trails’ left behind can be seen on some of the pavements around the Extension Building which has resulted in a few staff members and students asking, “What’s been going on there?”

To answer this question, Mrs Rowe reports…

“This was a lesson on the 3 states of matter and how the particles differ between them. This was an introduction lesson which will lead onto describing the changes during the chocolate and coffee making processes, as part of our Maya topic.

Please excuse some of the handwriting; we soon realised giant chalks were quite tricky to write with!”
